The Church of St. Nicholas is a member of the South Lafford Parish group of 11 churches and occupies a prominent situation in the centre of the village. It is a grade 2 listed building and dates back to the 12th Century with additions and adaptations up to the 18th Century and restorations in 1899, 1907 and 1926.
This church has a fine crocheted broach spire and a Norman tub font with carved faces and foliage. A Grade I listed weeping birch is another notable feature.
